FAQ

Common questions, straight answers.

These answers reflect the product as it works today.

Who is FreshMind for?

FreshMind is for shared households that want one place for groceries, meal planning, shopping, and kitchen routines instead of a stack of disconnected tools.

Can more than one person use the same household?

FreshMind is built around one shared household board so the whole family is always looking at the same inventory, shopping list, and meal plan — no separate accounts or sync lag.

How does shopping work?

FreshMind turns recipe shortages into a working shopping list, supports manual items, and can send bought items straight into inventory with draft values already filled in.

Does FreshMind support backup and restore?

Yes. Households can export a full backup and later restore operational data without wiping accounts, verification state, or active sessions.

Can I try FreshMind before signing up?

Yes — the demo lets you explore a pre-loaded family household with real inventory, expiring items, and recipe suggestions. No account needed.

What if email is not configured yet?

FreshMind degrades carefully. Email flows fall back to one-time preview links inside the app when SMTP is not configured for a deployment.

How do support requests work?

Households can submit support requests directly from settings. Admins can review and respond from the internal admin console.
